My name is Franky Redente. I’m an Audio Engineer, Sound Designer, and Creative Coder with over 25 years of professional experience across a wide range of creative and technical fields—including sound design, music production, mixing, mastering, post-production, spatial and interactive audio, procedural audio, software development, and event production.

My solo and collaborative music projects have been featured and supported by respected platforms and artists such as BBC Radio 1, NTS Radio, Worldwide FM, Gilles Peterson, Roman Flügel, Slam, Robert Hood, Laurent Garnier, and many others.

As both a sound designer and software developer, I’ve had the privilege of collaborating with composer and creative technologist Robert M. Thomas, contributing to projects for high-profile clients and institutions including the London Contemporary Orchestra, Massive Attack, The Barbican, Google, Bose, Boiler Room, Selfridges, the V&A Museum, and Nottingham University’s Mixed Reality Lab.

Previously, I led the audio department at Unmind, a workplace wellbeing platform, where I oversaw all aspects of sound production—from branding and advertising to content and editorial. I created original music, immersive soundscapes, podcasts, and long-form interview mixes, delivering high-quality audio assets for clients such as the BBC, Disney, The New York Times, Uber, John Lewis, Major League Baseball, and the NHS.

Alongside my professional practice, I spent 13 years teaching at SAE Institute London, where I lectured in music production, sound design, audio engineering, and audio programming. During this time, I helped shape the next generation of audio professionals by combining technical depth with industry-driven methodologies and mentorship.

Currently, I freelance with the AI dubbing company Papercup while continuing to deepen my programming expertise in C++ and Python. My ongoing focus is the development of intelligent audio tools—designed to empower sound professionals by streamlining workflows and unlocking new creative possibilities.
